Lauren Bell, MS, MPP, PMP, President and CEO of LaCire, founded the company in 2018 and is an experienced operations advisor and subject matter expert who has built and grown numerous companies. She has also led public health divisions and life science organizations for over 15 years. Lauren has experience in corporate operations, program management, human capital and P&L leadership, with an expertise in health and life science companies. In her free time, Lauren enjoys deep-diving into pop culture, debating over various sets of Real Housewives, and hanging out with both her human and furry family members.
Carla Mitchell, MPH, PMP, Vice President of LaCire, brings over 25 years of experience providing program/project management, complex management analysis, and outreach support. She has managed large and small teams in various locations throughout the country. Her areas of expertise are inclusive of policy development, community relations and engagement, public health, emergency preparedness and disaster response. In her free time, Carla enjoys a good round of karaoke, spending time with her family and friends, and finding the next best restaurant to try.
Jamie Albaum, PMP, Managing Director at LaCire, is a project management and consulting professional with experience advising clients and companies across all sectors on business operations, U.S. government partnerships, and grants and proposal management. Jamie leads LaCire's compensation practice area and is a subject matter expert on equitable compensation philosophy, human capital management, and fair business leadership practices. She has worked with clients in more than 15 countries and is fluent in three languages. In her free time, Jamie loves cooking for her friends and family, kickboxing and fitness, and exploring to find the world's best (and strongest) cup of coffee.
Jay Miller, MSPH, PMP, Senior Director at LaCire, joins the company with more than 15 years of experience leading health security programs and providing infectious disease subject matter expertise. An epidemiologist and microbiologist by training, Jay honed his skills in project and program management, affording him opportunities to travel the world, working to solve pressing public health challenges. As an avid surfer and rock climber, he maintains a passion for travelling and exploring, and as a Dad and husband, he loves spending time with his wife, daughter, and son.
Nakia Morrison, Business Manager at LaCire, is responsible for the company's business operations and providing direct support to the President & CEO. She has over 20 years of experience providing administrative and operations support. Nakia is passionate about process-building and developing proactive strategies to improve productivity and business growth. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Averett University. Nakia is a mother of three, a holistic wellness enthusiast, and a Virginia licensed Massage Therapist and certified Breathwork teacher.
Zach Maynard, PMP, Junior Project Manager at LaCire, brings experience in quality assurance, project management, data analysis, graphic design, and more. Zach leads LaCire's communications strategies, including social media and website development, and enjoys working closely with clients to best address the needs of their staff and business development ventures. In his free time, he is an avid cinephile, gamer, podcaster, and escape room-goer, and loves spending time with his partner and travelling to exciting new places.
Dyron Munlin, Senior Associate at LaCire, brings experience in creative problem solving, quality assurance, storage systems & management, data analysis, and more. Dyron leads LaCire's data management strategies, such as information procurement, data table creation, and project tracking initiatives, and possesses unique interpersonal skills that foster amicable discussions with clients to efficiently address any needs. In his free time, Dyron enjoys live music & theatre, hiking, manga/comics, spending time with family & friends, and exploring different locations.
Toya Steward, Contract Specialist for LaCire, has over 10 years of experience conducting research analysis, performing quality improvement initiatives, and leadership support. She has participated in various projects, working with data to improve efficiency and profitability for Fortune 500 companies. Her areas of expertise are consulting, research, data analysis, and analytical reporting. In her spare time, Toya enjoys spending time with her family and friends, spending time in nature and creating new experiences by always trying something new.
Shafiq Ahmed, MSPH is LaCire’s Health Consultant with 10+ years experience in the field of public health research. His expertise includes infectious disease, emergency management, global health, survey research, and data analytics. Shafiq has effectively led medium-sized teams on federal contracts for the Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Health Agency (DHA), Bureau of Navy Medicine (BUMED), and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). In his role as Health Consultant, Shafiq utilizes his experience to support research in pharmaceutical supply chains and contribute to white papers and other high-impact deliverables. In his free time, Shafiq finds joy in watching soccer, exploring the foodie scene in the DMV area, traveling, hiking, and cooking for friends and family.
Julia Gregor, Contract Specialist at LaCire, brings over 5 years of leadership experience in the healthcare industry, with expertise in data analysis, quality management, and process improvement to foster business growth and improve productivity. She contributes to various projects including business development, compensation analysis, and professional development. In her free time, Julia enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her furbabies, traveling to new places, yoga, and soaking up sun on the beach.
Tanya Sales, MBA, Consultant for LaCire, brings more than 20 years of business and client relationship management experience. She has managed teams in execution of complex events and service delivery projects, requiring critical internal and external resource analyses. She also brings a wealth of city government and federal emergency preparedness and response experience. Her areas of expertise include business development, government contracts, project management, client relationship management, and federal public/individual assistance programs. In her free time, Tanya enjoys international films, gardening, live music, traveling, experimenting with new food recipes, and relaxing with family and friends.
